Key Language Skills: Cover all the essential language skills such as: listening, speaking, reading, writing, pronunciation, and grammar. You will learn to speak with clarity, listen carefully, and gain the writing competencies necessary to complete challenging academic or business tasks with ease and accuracy.
Academic and Business Success Skills: Along with English, you’ll learn critical thinking, how to deliver presentations, public speaking, note-taking, and more.
Skills Enhancement Classes: Our Skills Enhancement Classes vary by location, but may include topics like American Idioms, American Film, Current Events, and American Culture.
Applied Learning: Our Contact America! learning activities allow you to meet with native English-speakers, practice conversing while using real-world English, and listen to guest lecturers.
ELS’s Intensive English program provides the highest level of proficiency for language learning, offering skills that are adaptable to any setting. For students who plan to transition into one of ELS’s university or college partners, completing the Masters Levels of the Intensive English course is accepted as proof of English proficiency for over 600 higher education partners in the United States.
Your language progression will depend on your personal commitment and the length of time you study. Each ELS level is 4 weeks. All students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of their studies.
